In a small mixing bowl combine water, oil, agave, and yeast and let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
In a large mixing bowl combine flour, salt, and parmesan if using.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and use a wooden spoon to combine until all of the flour has been incorporated into the dough.
On a lightly floured surface knead the dough a few times until is is smooth.
Divide dough into two equal balls and roll into 12” circles. The dough should be even and thin.
Place dough circles onto parchment paper and brush with a light coating of oil and top with desired ingredients.
Cook pizza at 500°F for 8-10 minutes. If cooking on a pizza stone it may reduce the cooking time.
Notes
If you want to make a pan style pizza don’t divide the dough into two pieces. Instead roll the dough into a 16” circle. Cooking with a thicker crust will increase cooking time to 15-20 minutes.
