Have you ever picked up the crunchy chickpeas at the grocery store, thinking that they would be a tasty treat, and then put them back after seeing the $5 price? Now you can make your own spending a lot less on ingredients and with very little effort in the kitchen.
These crispy chickpeas make a healthy snack or topping. The za’atar gives the chickpeas great flavor and makes them the perfect addition to any Mediterranean-inspired dish. This recipe is easy to make and comes together quickly. Make sure to check the chickpeas frequently while cooking because oven times may vary.
Don’t like za’atar seasoning? No worries! You can season these chickpeas with your own blend of favorite spices and get the same results. If you come up with a great combination let me know!
