Tofu Bacon Bits
Crispy and smoky bacon bits are the perfect addition to pizza, salad, pasta, sandwiches, and more.
Equipment
- cutting board
- Chef's Knife
- baking sheet
- parchment paper
Ingredients
- 1 package of firm tofu drained and pressed
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F
- Cut the tofu into ¼” cubes
- In a medium mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients
- Gently toss the tofu in the mixture
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Spread the tofu on the parchment paper in an even layer
- Bake for 30 minutes flipping tofu every 10 minutes until crispy
