Tofu ricotta is a quick and easy staple that can be added to pizza, pasta, and salads. You can also enjoy it cold, at room temperature, or warmed in a skillet.
Tofu Ricotta
This vegan homemade staple can be used on pizza, pasta, or salads and is a great source of plant-based protein.
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
Ingredients
- 14 oz package of firm tofu
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp dried Italian seasoning
- Juice from ½ lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Drain tofu and wrap in a clean towel. Allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes or longer in the refrigerator.
- Mash tofu in a medium mixing bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients and incorporate into the tofu.
Notes
I use this tofu ricotta on pizza or to stuff pasta.
