Zucchini and Tomato Whole Foods Pizza
You have probably heard how important it is to your health to eat as much whole food plant based foods as possible in your diet. This pizza is my whole food redition on the classic.
Equipment
- 1 9" x 13" baking sheet
- 1 Food processor
- 1 Chef's Knife
- 1 cutting board
Ingredients
- 1 Whole food crust
- 1 zucchini sliced
- 1 tomato sliced
- 1 package Daiya mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 sprig basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325° F
- Follow whole food pizza crust recipe to prepare the crust
- Top the crust with pizza sauce, Daiya cheese, zucchini, and tomato
- Bake for 35 – 45 minutes or until the crust is browned and toppings are cooked through
- Top with fresh basil leaves
Notes
You can substitute any toppings you prefer. I like to use whatever is in season when I am making this pizza.
