There are many Snickers stuffed date recipes floating around the internet. However, this recipe only uses four ingredients and is vegan. The natural sugar from the dates, plant-based protein from the peanut butter and almonds, and antioxidants from the dark chocolate make this a healthy indulgence.
This recipe came about because I wanted a healthy alternative to chocolate-covered peanut butter eggs for Easter and I thought these would be perfect. I also don’t completely understand how the ingredients differ so much from a regular Snickers bar yet still taste like a Snickers.
