I use fig in EVERYTHING when it is fig season! I have often been curious about the classic fig and cheese combination, so I decided to experiment with plant-based cheese, fresh figs, and vegan bacon. Vegan cheese has come a long way since I transitioned to a plant-based diet. For this pizza, I used Grounded hemp seed goat cheese and it is one of the most cheese-like vegan cheeses I have ever tasted! I also recommend a thin crust for this recipe. Try using my Neapolitan pizza dough recipe or if you use store-bought roll it really thin. My balsamic fig reduction is a perfect finish to this pizza!
