I saw this recipe on TikTok from vernahungrybanana and I had to make it vegan. I stuck pretty close to her directions but I subbed in JUST egg and I used chili crisp instead of chili oil. It is pretty similar flavorwise but I like the texture of the chili crisp.
This avocado toast is simple and quick to make and will make you never want to eat avocado toast at a restaurant again! Check out my modifications to the original recipe below.

Chili Crisp JUST Egg Avocado Toast
Equipment
- nonstick griddle
Ingredients
- 1 slice sourdough bread
- ½ avocado
- ⅓ bottle JUST egg
- 1 Tbsp chili crisp
- chives chopped to serve
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast sourdough bread
- Smash avocado over bread and sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Preheat a griddle to 350°F
- Shake JUST egg bottle and pour ⅓ of the bottle onto the griddle
- Use a wooden spatula to move the JUST egg towards the center of the puddle
- Add chili crisp over the JUST egg and continue to move the egg around the griddle
- When JUST egg becomes more solid and slightly browned it is cooked
- Add JUST egg on top of the avocado and drizzle with a little more chili crisp and chives
- Enjoy immediately!
